Fabric Widths

Each fabric has a maximum width. We do not seam our blinds so the maximum width available in any particular fabric cannot exceed the maximum fabric width unless the fabric can be ‘Railroaded’ (see below)

Railroaded fabric

Some fabrics can be turned through 90 degrees (see fabric details) so that the maximum width is unlimited. The stated fabric width in this instance becomes the maximum drop of the blind. E.g. Fabric width = 2100mm .When railroaded width is unlimited but maximum drop is 2100mm

Colour – Confirm your colour choice here

Use the dropdown box to confirm your fabric colour choice.

In the case of Silent Gliss fabrics the fabric type with the appropriate colour code number have to be selected. e.g.’ Triscreen 1% 009′

Battery Power

12V Battery Blinds

For light duty where the surface area of the blind is below 3.6 square meters, the usage is limited (2-4 times per day), and the fabric is relatively light.

Battery life can be up to 2 years but is affected by exceeding any of the above criteria.

Solar Power Pack

The Solar Pack power option consists of a solar panel approximately 310mm long and 41mm wide, a single rechargeable battery, a ‘Y’ cable for connecting solar panel and battery to the motor and self adhesive strips for mounting the solar panel.

The Solar Pack extends the life of the standard battery pack however it does not alter the capacity of the motor to raise and lower the blind so the same size, weight and usage criteria still apply as per 12V Battery blinds.

Heavy/medium/light duty

This describes two aspects of the blind’s use

How frequently the blind will be used and

The weight of fabric that the blind is expected to pull up and down.

Light Duty

Where the overall blind size does not exceed 6 square metres and the usage is low.

Battery powered Medium Duty

A tubular motor powered by an integrated li-ion rechargeable battery. Maximum blind width of 2.4 metres and overall size not to exceed 9.6 square metres

240V Heavy Duty

A 240V tubular motor fitted into a 44mm tube. No practical limit on size but for sizes over 3.6metres wide and 21.6 square metres contact e-Traks.

INSTALLATION DETAILS

For  solar powered units the installation is simple and straightforward. The battery pack is mounted behind the headrail on the clips provided and connection to the motor is made via a push in connector. The solar pack has a 3 way connector that connects the motor and the battery pack via push in connectors.

For mains powered devices each unit can be connected using a standard 3 pin plug to a suitable 240V socket. Ideally the unit(s) should be connected to a 3A fused spur. This is essential for multiple installations and the installation of the cabling must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Wiring diagrams are available on request.

Physical installation of each blind is no different to a manually operated blind .

Full installation instructions are included.

WHAT DO YOU GET.
